While others treat calling as a puzzle to solve or destination to reach, Live Called understands calling as developing partnership with the Author—a dynamic way of being in His Story rather than a static answer to find.

The Live Called Difference:

• Relationship vs. Formula: We see calling as developing partnership with the Author, not a formula to figure out

• Dynamic vs. Static: Calling as developing through story seasons, not a fixed plan to execute

• Process vs. Product: Calling as ongoing development in God's epic, not an end product to achieve

• Way of Being vs. Thing to Have: Calling as your developing part in God's Story, not something you possess

• Journey vs. Destination: Calling as developing through the narrative itself, not a place you arrive

You don't just discover WHO you've been created to be; you develop into that calling identity through ongoing partnership with the Author. You don't just figure out WHAT God is calling you to; you grow in understanding your calling direction as He guides your development. You don't just identify WHERE to go next; you develop confidence in your calling context knowing it unfolds through the partnership itself.

This is calling as developing partnership with the Author, not a problem to solve once and for all.

The Highlands Ability Battery (HAB) is a human assessment tool that objectively measures your natural abilities by asking you to perform specific tasks or exercises. As part of the Highlands Whole Person Model, the HAB is the foundation and starting point to identify the career best suited for you.

What Makes the HAB Unique?

The HAB is unique in that it measures your abilities based on performance rather than perception. Exercises such as recreating designs from memory, manipulating blocks in space, and putting images in logical sequence are some of the virtual tasks you are asked to perform within a set amount of time. Results based on timed performance are far more reliable than results based on self-perception or personal opinion.
